Week #34: Brassicas and Pumpkins

Our brassicas, which have barely been mentioned this year are finally starting to be harvested.  We cut our first broccoli this week and our cabbage heads and brussel sprouts continue to grow.

Aaron is away this week for work and everyday Marianne packs more and more sweetcorn into both our fridges awaiting his return so we can finally can it.

Our pie pumpkins are ready to be picked as well. Some are still green but will ripen after being picked.
