Week #33: ToeMaeto ToeMatoes....Let's call the whole thing sauce...and salsa!

Tomatoes are taking priority this week as we continue to pick our biggest yield of tomatoes to date that continue to have no late blight.

Romas!!

Aaron canned tomato sauce, along with 19 jars of salsa so we are good for the year. The rest of the romas are for whoever wants them.  Marianne's Mom makes a mean tomato soup!

This week we finally began picking sweetcorn, a few weeks behind everyone else.

We recently remulched our bee/butterfly garden which is coming along quite nicely with both our bees and other pollinators paying a visit everyday! 

Our bee/butterfly garden consists of lavender, sedum, phlox, butterfly bush, butterfly weed, columbines, bee balm, black-eyed susans, and coneflowers.  Photo by Marianne Balkwill
