Week #25: Remember those Potato Beetles?

Most of this week involved weeding....A LOT OF WEEDING!  We had so many weeds this year that our beans were starting to disappear, and so were our onions! We never got any photos because we don't even want to see the weeds later while looking through this blog!

We harvested another crop this week, our snow peas!  They tasted great!

Remember those Potato Beetles from a couple of weeks ago?  Maybe we should have squished them because they multiplied!

Marianne spent one evening going through all the potato plants and picked off the Potato Beetles placing them into a jar. 

She got quite a few in there and decided to feed them to the chickens.  They were curious, but in the end they seemed somewhat more skeptical.
