Week #8: Signs of Spring and Homecut Fries

This past week the temperature went above 15 Celsius and that brought in some spring migrants including our resident Common Grackles, which are now calling on territory, along with some Red-winged Blackbirds, Killdeer, and migrating species of waterfowl.

It is time to empty out the cold store as we approach spring. Picking out the biggest potatoes from our bin we made 6 1/2 large bags of our homecut fries. This will easily last us until next year.
