Week #6: No Sign of Spring

This week we received just under a foot of snow in our area.  It feels like winter is never going to end here in the extreme south of Ontario where we are not used to seeing so much snowfall during the winter. Though it is a pain in the butt to shovel and drive in, it sure makes everything look pretty all covered in a blanket of white.  Next week we are supposed to get above freezing again so some of snow will melt.

Snow falling on February 10th, 2018.  Freezing rain is already scheduled for next week.  February in southwestern Ontario is probably the most unpredictable of all the months with everything from snow, to freezing rain, rain, and even temperatures well above average being thrown into the mix.
